Do Children Cause Karma?

Although we received and answered the below question in 2011, we heard this New Age Myth again when someone asked us a similar question recently. Thus, we decided to share the question and our answer.
Question:
I listened to an interview, and the person said that many people choose not to have children because they know that children cause karma. Is that true?
Our Answer:
Children (New Children) do not cause karma; however, they can bring it into view for families to heal. We must remember that many New Children are natural healers and have been healers in many of their lifetimes on and off-planet. Many embody this healing energy and high vibration and come into this life to help their parents and others heal all trauma from this life or any other life on Earth and off-planet. They are truly helping those around them look honestly within themselves and take the journey of self-awareness, which leads to processing and healing their unresolved trauma from this and other lifetimes.
Many New Children mirror back the unresolved issues that their parents and others hold within themselves because they have not addressed them. They do not ask themselves if they contribute to their children’s behavior. Other New Children act out the unresolved issues of their parents and others in order to bring them to their attention for processing and healing. Unfortunately, these children are seen as the problem, and the adults around them never go deeper to find out exactly why the child is acting out.
Many do not understand how past lives affect them in this life, let alone have explored anything from their childhood in this life. Others believe in dogma that does not include the knowledge of other lifetimes. Thus, those who follow that dogma never clearly understand their place in the multiverse. This unawareness is unfortunate because each member brings something to the family unit, and sometimes it is unresolved past life trauma that negatively affects their relationships.
Consequently, when children act out and mirror back this unconscious, unresolved baggage people carry, some may say that the children are causing karma, but again, that is incorrect. They are bringing everything into view that must be healed so each family member can be more of who they are and function fully intact as an individual and a family.
The children who bring up past life trauma are allowing us to go within and uncover and heal every area in this life and others that are problematic.
What a fantastic journey of ReAwakening and Remembering who we indeed are when we allow our children to be and express who they are.
